Eligibility Condition:
- A candidate who has passed 10+2 examination or equivalent shall be eligible.
- Provided they have opted Punjabi as one of the subject of matriculation or any other equivalent examination. Those candidates who have not passed the subject of Punjabi up to matriculation level must have to pass before the exam of first year, failing which their result will be withheld by the University.
- Candidates who has passed their examination from schools/institutions situated outside the state of Punjab may be allowed to take up the subject of Punjabi Compulsory (Mudla Gyan) in lieu of Punjabi(Compulsory).
- Children of defense/ paramilitary personnel (serving as well as retired) will be allowed to take up the subject of Punjabi compulsory (Mudla Gyan) provided that the father , mother/guardian of the candidate gives an affidavit that the candidate has not studied Punjabi at School level.
